In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the Pokemon are considered wild forces. It also features an open wilderness area, a settlement and some small campsites. The region has Diamond and Pearl clans living it. The game is set in the Hisui region, closely replicating a real-life island in Japan. It is not a true open-world game, but the game areas are large enough for it to be considered one. Unlike old Pokemon games, where all you had to do was move through a town and collect badges, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a game where players can explore the large area and do what they need to. With the new setting and open-world feature, players come close to experiencing what it is like in the Pokemon world. Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes a new approach to the spinoff design. Since the reign of the Pokemon movies in the 90s, many spinoff games have been released.
